Intermec Selects Aether Systems to Provide Wireless Enablement of Supply Chain Information Solutions
Aether Systems, Inc., a leading provider of wireless data products and services announced today that Intermec Technologies Corp., a UNOVA Inc. (NYSE:UNA) subsidiary, will adopt Aether Fusion(TM) to wirelessly extend Intermec's suite of supply chain information systems.
Aether Fusion, Aether's single-source foundation for wireless access to information and applications, will provide wireless connectivity to Intermec's full logistics solution, i-gistics(TM) and field service solution, ArciTech(TM), at all points of customer contact including sales, delivery, and service.
Data management systems by Intermec include handheld, vehicle-mounted and stationary computer networking terminals tailored to specific applications and host environments.
