Metricom, Aether Systems partner to offer high-speed wireless data access & solutions to Enterprise customers

<%=company1%>, a high-speed wireless data company, is teaming up with Metricom, Inc., a provider of wireless data products and services, to deliver high-speed mobile Internet access and high-end solutions to corporations seeking to extend mission-critical data quickly and securely to their mobile workforce.

As part of the deal, Aether will sign up customers to Ricochet directly and provide a flat rate based on each end user. Aether and Metricom will work together to develop marketing plans and sales channels for corporate customers in markets across the United States.

As a Ricochet Authorized Service Provider, Aether will be able to provide its customers with a 128 kilobytes per second connection via the Ricochet network.
