The SignalPro software package is designed for Windows 95, Windows NT, and Windows 98 systems. This package is equipped with a set of planning tools for wireless communications systems. Specifically, the product houses a number of propagation model types along with a range of coverage and interference analyses. In addition, the package delivers RF system design and modeling capabilities for all major wireless technologies including PCS/cellular, paging, SMR/LMR, indoor LAN's, broadcast technologies, and broadband technologies such as LMDS, MDS, and wireless local loop (WLL).
EDX's Network Design Module is an optional add-on module for use with SignalPro. This module provides engineering design capabilities for cellular/PCS and point-to-multipoint system design. In particular, engineers can use this software module during the design/development of MMDS, LMDS, and WLL networks.
The Network Design Module can be used with any of the systems that fall within the broad definition of a point-to-multipoint or consecutive point system operating in the 2 to 60 GHz range. The module enables automatic system layout, frequency planning, and both downlink and uplink interference studies for broadband systems.
