PCIA GlobalXChange: Wireless Online smart base stations fill coverage gaps

The ClearBeam 200R diversity omni receiving system from N/A Inc. (Los Altos, CA) is being deployed in commercial wireless data networks. It enables wireless data operators to extend the reach of their networks to smaller areas, such as campuses, valleys, freeway, corridors, and areas with RF shadowing.

The introduction of the ClearBeam 200 allows the company to be a "one-stop shop," offering industry-compatible infrastructure equipment that can serve everything from a small town to a major metropolis. The diversity omni receiver is the first building block in the ClearBeam range of smart antenna base station products offered by Wireless Online. It upgrades to the high-capacity, extended-range ClearBeam 2000R series of multibeam systems. The technology refines signal quality, allowing receipt of messages from deep inside buildings. The ClearBeam 200R covers more than twice the area of a regular omni antenna solution and operates in the 900 MHz frequency range.
