PCIA GlobalXChange: AirTrac offers carrier-grade voice interactive service

Voice-managed phone services provider AirTrac Inc. is unveiling its turnkey package that now enables wireless carriers to offer a portfolio of voice-activated features to its subscribers without installing equipment or new software. The company's "EveryWhereOffice" voice-interactive services are now enabled to handle up to one million subscribers to any type of phone.

Subscribers can choose features, including multi-lingual voice reading of e-mail, appointment notification, securities information, restaurant reviews, local weather, and news and sports headlines. Instant billing and live customer assistance operators complete the package.

The software package uses the Conversa (Redmond, WA) conversation server to provide a multi-modal portal for wireless carriers.
