The WaveNet Link AX point-to-point ATM-25 based radio system is an economical solution for DSL service providers, Internet service providers, and CLECS. It interconnects high-speed data networks at rates up to 8.5 Mbps between buildings or facilities within the same metropolitan area, and is characterized by low end-to-end signal delay, ease of installation and simplicity in use.

The system is a license-exempt point-to-point radio that takes advantage of the Unlicensed National Information Infrastructure (U-NII) frequency spectrum to provide eight user-selectable frequency channels and 16 Mbps aggregate capacity for path distances of up to seven miles in the USA and up to 19 km internationally. It provides half- and full- duplex, license-exempt operation in the 5.3/5.7 GHz in accordance with the FCC Rules part 15.407. The radio system requires no special tuning or adjustment at the site; just install, align and connect the to the existing ATM infrastructure via the ATM-25 interface.
