Bandpass Filter/Surge Arrestor

The ISM Protector is a combination bandpass filter and surge arrestor. It is a versatile accessory made possible by a new design technology. This in-line unit provides bandpass filtering and a path to ground for lightning-induced surge pulses. The five-element design uses interdigital filter techniques for superior RF performance and manufacturing repeatability. The filter offers greater than 10 dB attenuation 50 MHz out-of-band, and greater than 35 dB attenuation 100 MHz out-of-band with a typical insertion loss of less than 0.9 dB. The unit passes industry standard surge specifications. It can be mounted onto a flat surface, such as a roof or wall, or bulkhead mounted into an equipment rack or outdoor radio unit.
