The BSCS 6.0 is a business support solution for 3G and mobile Internet that provides a complete, high performance, ready to use solution for GPRS and wireless IP services. It allows users to manage the complex business-to-business and business-to-consumer relationships associated with the provisioning of multiple 3G mobile services. The solution provides the flexibility to provision, capture, rate, bill and account for any type of transaction, content, voice, data, GPRS, UMTS and IP services, in a way that is independent from the service.

For each service, the solution can easily define and update specific revenue allocation to the different parties involved, such as mobile operators, service and content providers. It is able to recognize different types of content and to rate the content based on a combination of new parameters, such as volume, type of content, value of content, number of clicks, quality of service.

With the solution, it is possible to introduce complex discounting schemes across corporate account structures and across boundaries, and to conduct timely promotional activities that are critical for customer satisfaction and retention. Free units of usage will be pulled together from affiliated accounts and accounted for in real time in the rating process.

The solution offers real time operation capabilities and the flexibility to react to changing market conditions together with high performance and reliability. BSCS software performance tests, performed on a SUN Enterprise 10000 Starfire server, proved the capacity of the system to handle transaction volumes and customer information for 50 million subscribers, a higher volume workload than any other client server customer care and billing system for the communications industry.
