DDS VRLA Batteries Featuring Zone 4 Certified Rack

The Zone-4 certified rack for Independence DDS VRLA batteries makes the batteries ideal for wireless, microwave, central office, and other telecommunications applications that require high performance.

The rack is certified to 1997 UBC Zone 4, in any configuration of up to 4 cells wide x 6 cells high or vice-versa (48V units). The rack incorporates an easy-to-assemble frame system, which provides flexibility for system configuration and simple installation in difficult or tight locations. Its pieces fit together in pre-drilled and pre-punched holes in almost any configuration required. Base beams provide stability and ease of anchoring to the floor. Battery cells are encased in dedicated protective steel cases that maintain a constant, uniform compression for the life of the cell.

The batteries have a large ampere-hour capacity, from 120 Ah to 8,000 Ah. They are available in standard voltages of 24V, 48V, 240V, 480V, or in unique voltages to meet specific needs. The batteries feature Slide-Lock post seal, and are completely front-accessible. They are available in 32 different sizes and non-standard configurations and have a recombination of >95%. They require no watering, periodic equalization, special ventilation or spill-containment systems.
