Allen Telecom, Grayson Electronics Divisionss location system allows wireless service providers to cost-effectively accelerate the availability of innovative location-sensitive value-added services inclusively to all existing wireless subscribers.

Such services might include motorist assistance, personalized traffic information, route guidance, door-to-door instructions, and enhanced 411. This network-based location technology works with existing handsets, extending their utility and eliminating the need to modify or replace them. Geometrix is available now for commercial application.

Geometrix, which meets or exceeds all Federal Communications Commission (FCC) E911 Phase II accuracy and implementation requirements, can also provide accurate subscriber location information for location-sensitive value-added services.

This product does not interfere in wireless network operations, nor does it use wireless network bandwidth or other valuable resources, or increase radio channel overhead nor depletes handset battery reserves.
