ADC, Telcordia Form Alliance to Provide End-to-End Solutions

Morristown, NJ-based Telcordia Technologies Inc. and Minneapolis, MN-based ADC have agreed to combine their expertise in software, hardware, and consulting services for telecommunications service providers. Both companies will pool products and consulting services designed to speed delivery of new and enhanced services and technologies for emerging carriers. The easily customized solutions will be tailored for each customer from a suite of modular components.

Telcordia will plan and design network architectures using its consulting expertise and suite of software applications coupled with complementary consulting services, hardware, and software products from ADC. The two companies will implement the solution set with their combined global workforce.

Network inventory/records verification, cleansing, and loading into operations support systems (OSS) databases, central office engineering, furbish and installation (EF&I), and OSS installation and integration are key components of ADC's services. Key components of the Telcordia services include OSS support in the areas of service provisioning and activation as well as network design and inventory, service assurance, billing and negotiation, and work force management.
