Alpha Technologiesr system manufacturer <%=company%> has added two new single-phase power supplies to its 1400 Series headend power supply family. These new UPS Systems are specifically designed to support headends and hub site electronics.

The 1400 Series 18kVA UPS provides maximum power density, boasting the smallest footprint in its class. This space-saving design makes it ideal for headend and hub site applications with limited space and large power requirements.

Two additional rack-mount UPS systems have also been added to Alpha's headend offering. These systems are available in 1.5kVA and 2.0kVA power ratings and provide the benefit of internal batteries, occupying only 3RU of rack space.

Both of these new UPS systems incorporate dual conversion technology that provides total power conditioning for sensitive headend electronics – regardless of the quality of the utility or generator input power. This topology has a "walk-in" transfer features which provides compatibility with most existing generators, even when sized near generator capacity. The walk-in feature also provides an upgrade path to add a second UPS which can run on the same generator should your headend load grow beyond the first UPS unit's capacity. Internal static bypass provides redundancy in the event of overload or fault.

Additional benefits of these power supplies include, four outlets, a wide input frequency range of 55 to 65Hz, true sine-wave output, and a 3-year parts, labor and battery warranty. Standard features include output load, battery level, utility status, inverter and fault indicators, UPS, bypass and alarm reset operations, DB9 Dry Contact Interface and RS-232 interface.

Alpha Technologies provides a complete line of reliable power protection products for the telecommunications and cable television industries, including custom, application-specific power solutions.
