AMADEUS is an innovative tool developed by ATS that extracts statistics from AMA files in real time and filters the data into subsets based on user-defined call characteristics. AMADEUS is also capable of extracting delta statistics based on comparisons of two sets of data. This enables translators to check AMA data before and after corrections have been made to a particular switch to verify accuracy. AMADEUS then interactively produces reports, which can be read, printed and e-mailed depending on the requirements of the user.

AMADEUS Main Modules
The AMADEUS package dynamically intertwines to create accurate "on the fly" statistical data for you.

  • The Indexer Module generates an index set, or top level view of AMA data for speed of access.
  • The Menu Module displays ranges of field values within an AMA data set as starting points for filtering. Key fields include answer indicator, originating and terminating NPA/NXX, structure code, call code, MBI and elapsed time.
  • The Extractor Module generates statistics by matching user selections against AMA data.
  • The Expander Module displays and annotates individual call detail records, which are extracted from the source input files.
  • The Subtractor Module creates delta records by contrasting two sets of AMA data.
  • The GUI Module provides browser-based Internet access to AMADEUS processes and reports.
