Antenna Products Acquires BAE Systems Antenna Product Line

BAE Systems Advanced Systems (Greenlawn, Long Island, NY) has sold its complete line of commercial telecommunications antennas to Antenna Products/A Cabre Corp Subsidiary (Mineral Wells, TX). The acquisition represents the entire analog cellular, digital cellular, and intelligent antenna product base of BAE Systems Advanced Systems that produced revenues of $1.2 million in 1999. The deal was for a combination of cash, Antenna Products stock, and royalties on future sales of Intelligent Antenna Systems or IAS.

During an extended transition period the company has agreed to assist Antenna Products in engineering, development, and marketing to bring the Intelligent Antenna Systems to the domestic and international markets, in exchange for the royalty agreement.
