Azotel Technologies Partners With Gateway Business Nigeria To Manage Their Award Winning Wireless Broadband Network

Gateway Business Nigeria to Use its SIMPLerTM OSS Solution for Their Award Winning AirLink and MetroLink Broadband Services

Cork, Ireland--(Marketwire) - Azotel Technologies today announced a contract with Gateway Business Nigeria to use its SIMPLer™ OSS solution for their award winning AirLink™ and MetroLink™ broadband services.

Gateway Business will use Azotel Technologies' industry leading SIMPLer™ platform to operate and manage a network that will deliver wireless broadband connections across Nigeria. This deal follows Gateway Business Nigeria's successful roll-out of its award winning Airlink™ and MetroLink™ wireless broadband services.

Gateway Business Nigeria, headquartered in Lagos, is building a 10.5GHz countrywide, point to multi-point wireless network, which will provide broadband access to the global Internet at speeds comparable to fiber, but with much faster installation in every major city. Up to 8Mb wireless broadband access services will be rolled out across 10 Nigerian states in 2010 and 26 additional states will go live in 2011.

This is all part of a larger plan for Gateway Business, to build an all IP network throughout Africa, connecting every major city on the continent.

Azotel's SIMPLer™ OSS is a full-featured service provider management platform, used to manage single or multiple ISP businesses from sign-up to disconnect. Important SIMPLer™ OSS features include auto provisioning of radio equipment, customer portal with automated sign-up, monthly billing and credit card processing, technical support trouble tickets, installation scheduling, inventory management, sales promotions, management reports and more.

"We have a long-standing relationship with Gateway Communications," said John O'Hare, CEO of Azotel." The fact that they've chosen our SIMPLer™ platform as the OSS solution for a project of this size demonstrates Gateway's confidence in the product itself, and in Azotel's ability to deliver."

"We already use Azotel's SIMPLer solution in several smaller networks," said Paul Jaikaran, Director of Engineering at Gateway Business, "and we've been impressed with the power and flexibility of the system, and the level of support that Azotel provides. When it came to selecting an OSS solution for this project, SIMPLer was the obvious choice for us."
