Transmitting 155 Mbps SDH/SONET using 28 MHz, the 38 GHz Altium is used for broadband access and mobile telephony base station interconnection applications. This radio uses 128 QAM modulation to achieve high spectral efficiency, and permits operators to use high capacity radios while conserving radio spectrum. These radios are available in the 6, 7, 8, 11, 15, 18, 23, and 26 GHz bands.
