Broadband Wireless Communication Cable
Broadband Wireless Communication (BWC) cables are highly flexible, low loss and low cost 50 Ohm braided coax cables designed for broadband wireless communication networks. They are suited for antenna feeds over short distances, wireless jumper assemblies, replacement of aging and less effective systems or complex installations where flexibility is required. BWC cables are designed to provide superior electrical and mechanical performance in challenging installation environments that require a tight bend radius. They are ideal for a wide variety of broadband applications including the PCS, Cellular, Local Multipoint Distribution System (LMDS), Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Service (MMDS), Land Mobile Radio, Paging and Wireless Local Loop arenas.
BWC cable is engineered to achieve low loss characteristics through the use of closed micro-cell foam dielectric and braiding technology. Suitable for either indoor or outdoor applications, BWC cables are available with either polyethylene or PVC (to achieve a CATVR fire rating) outer jackets to provide strong protection against damage due to abrasion or exposure to harsh environmental conditions
