The Wireless Manager is a component-based web application that provides a proprietary set of decision support applications and management capabilities to assist in the selection, purchase, management and implementation of a company-wide wireless policy. The complete solution enables companies to integrate their purchasing policy and approval processes to better control expenditures and their inventory of wireless products.

The application leverages the power of the Web instead of requiring an application-specific client. The browser becomes the universal thin client and accesses the hosted system. As a result, client installations disappear. By combining a hosted application, a browser interface and a customizable application requiring no consultative implementation costs, the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) becomes a non-issue.

It is based entirely on the open standards of Java, COM, XML, and SQL, and its architecture is extensible and scalable to provide companies with the ability to create distributed procurement solutions without installation requirements. It adapts to policy information provided by the company to create a customized catalog.

The application includes the following capabilities and features:
• Provides a client controlled solution -- custom product/service catalog, access rights, approval processes, etc.
• Controls policy integration and implementation
• Supports centralized or distributed deployment and purchasing
• Supplies order status, tracking and reporting capabilities
• Hosted application for fast and simple deployment
