Digital Radio Test Set

Racal Instruments Inc. Radio Test Set 6104 has been designed for mobile test, aimed at GSM, GSM1800, and GSM1900. It is a high performance, portable, fully integrated instrument designed for the production and maintenance of modern digital mobile telephones.

The user controls have been designed to allow operators to test and fault find mobile phones. A ‘no button start' feature allows the user to be test them without touching the instrument. Another mode provides all key measurements to be viewed simultaneously with any reading that is out of limits highlighted. In all, 6104 offers five testing modes to suit any user and application.

Single Tests include call set-up, call terminate, handover, transmitter, receiver, sensitivity, voice loopback, speech, power level steps, and timing advance tests. Other features include automatic sequences, comprehensive signaling protocol, dual band handover, auxiliary RF port, synchronization output, and test SIM.
