<%=company1%> (Reston, VA) has sold its premier microwave path design software tool to Dolphin Telecom GmbH of Germany in a deal valued at more than $550,000k in software licenses that will be used to support Dolphin's terrestrial trunked radio (TETRA) network in Germany.

IQ·Link is a spectrum allocation and engineering software tool that supports the end-to-end design of fixed microwave networks. The tool is an engineering product for path clearance, reliability assessment, and fast, accurate interference analysis assessments. The software tool incorporates the ability to engineer point-to-point (P-P) fixed networks with the ability to design point-to-multipoint (PMP) microwave networks, supporting the connection of GSM, UMTS, TETRA networks, and the design of Wireless Local Loop (WLL), Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS), and other PMP systems.

Dolphin Telecommunications was formed to establish and operate digital mobile radio networks across Europe based on TETRA technology that combines features of mobile cellular telephony and fast data communications for mobile business workgroups.
