As the 20th century was coming to a close and we at Verse Data Products were planning to meet the challenges and opportunities of the new millennium, a decision was made to change our name to better communicate what type of company we have evolved into since our incorporation in 1984.

We also wanted to set the stage for our future growth into the 21st century and so effective January 1, 2000, our (new name) will be e-media plus.

Over the past 16 years, with your help, we have been able to grow our business to over 14 million dollars in annual revenue and we thank you for your support.

We have grown from 3 people in a small rented office in New York City to currently 20 people; our own corporate and distribution facilities in Hackensack, New Jersey with additional sales offices in Freehold and Pitman, New Jersey, New Fairfield, Connecticut and Boston, Massachusetts.

Verse Data Products (our old name) has certainly established itself as one of the leading suppliers of computer products (primarily magnetic media and printer supplies) in the northeastern U.S. So, why change the name?

Success, as we know, is a moving target and with the rapid emergence of the Internet and e-commerce, we felt that changes (supplements to our direct sales efforts) would be necessary to meet the demands and opportunities of the future.

E-commerce is enabling us to service additional client requirements with efficiencies not before possible and is uncovering markets that we did not know existed. Many of you wanted us to have an on line catalog and on line ordering capability. We wanted to have a medium for ongoing communications with our clients, as to the availability of new products and services, company and industry news and to share solutions to some of the data processing challenges facing us every day.
