Emergent Introduces Wi-Fi Network Processing Board

Sewickley, PA -- The Express network processing board series is the foundation of Emergent Electronics wireless product line. The company believes the Express I is the right choice for building any robust WiFi communications system. Express I is designed with the Intel IXP-425 running at speeds up to 533 MHz. The board comes standard with four mini-PCI connectors. Each mini-pci card can be set independently offering the most flexible platform. Express I has been designed using industrial extended temperature range components to achieve the temperature extremes of -40º to 80ºC.

The Express I series has many options to choose from in order to optimize the processing board to your application. Express I comes standard with 64MB of SDRAM but can be customized from 16MB to 128MB. Also, the standard configuration has 16MB of flash but can be customized from 4MB to 32MB. The board's highly efficient switching regulated power supply can handle a wide range of input voltage from 12-57 volts.
