EnGenius Technologies Long Range Wireless Routers and Luxul Wireless WiFi Antennas to be Bundled with ECB3500 and EOC1650 Wireless Access Points

It is anticipated that the combined solutions will significantly extend signal range and overall wireless network performance when compared to traditional offerings.

With this new offering, the Extreme Range wireless access point and the X-WAV long range WiFi antenna will be conveniently bundled into the new ELK-series High Performance WiFi kit. The winning combination of these two technologies will result in longer range signal coverage and higher data throughput rates. Initially, three ELK long range WiFi kits will be available through select EnGenius distributors:

• ELK-1650-FP14 (MSRP $259): bundling the Luxul X-WAV 14dBi flat panel WiFi antenna kit with the EnGenius EOC1650 outdoor wireless access point.
• ELK-3500-PW1 (MSRP $530): bundling the Luxul Pro-WAV 100 Lite WiFi antenna kit with the EnGenius ECB3500 indoor wireless access point.
• ELK-3500-PW2 (MSRP $705): bundling the Luxul Pro-WAV 200 Lite WiFi antenna kit with the EnGenius ECB3500 indoor wireless access point.

EnGenius Extreme Range wireless routers come equipped with high powered radios that naturally provides an extended signal. The EnGenius ECB3500 is a long-range, indoor, multi-functional (Wireless Access Point, Client Bridge, Repeater or Router), 802.11b/g device that packs 600mW of output power behind its wireless range extender, maximizing coverage potential, while reducing infrastructure and installation costs. The ECB3500 capability of broadcasting multiple SSID's and controlling different levels of network access (VLAN Tagging) improves the management and security of user networks. For open outdoor area deployments, the EnGenius EOC1650 provides a robust 200mW output signal for stable wireless connections with a bandwidth of up to 54Mbps. Like the ECB3500, the EOC1650 offers intelligent QoS for priority of VoIP, video and gaming transmission.

With the addition of the Luxul X-WAV WiFi antenna, signal propagation is further enhanced through the implementation of Circular Polarization (CP) technology. The circular signal pattern generated by the X-WAV long range WiFi antenna improves signal penetration through obstacles, while ensuring higher data rates throughout the entire coverage area. X-WAV WiFi antennas also deliver superior connectivity with remote devices--especially in mobile networking environments.
