FCC Chairman Powell to keynote CTIA Wireless 2001

The Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA)) today announced that Michael Powell, the FCC's new chairman, will attend and speak at CTIA's WIRELESS 2001 in Las Vegas Nevada, which runs from March 20-22, 2001. Chairman Powell will take part in the keynote series on Tuesday, the 20th.
"We are enormously proud to have Chairman Powell attend and address CTIA's WIRELESS 2001," said Tom Wheeler, President and CEO of CTIA. "This is an excellent chance for the industry, the public and the media to hear from our regulator-in-chief."
"I look forward to this opportunity to meet with the wireless industry," said Chairman Powell. "Forums such as these are ideal for the exchange of ideas and information and the chance to observe the most recent technological advances."
