FireceWireless.com launches guide to WAP sites
E-publishing company FierceWireless.com (Washington, DC) has launched a guide to WAP sites: A new "Cool WAP Site of the Day" e-mail newsletter aimed at sifting through the exploding wireless Web to find the most useful WAP sites.
Every day, the newsletter will highlight a different WAP site that makes the cut, offering a detailed description of the site and directions on how to find it. But it won't all be good news: Once a week, the newsletter will critique a site that, in the company's view, just plain sucks.
The newsletter will be edited by leading WAP expert Robert Fine. Fine heads up Network XXIII, a wireless consulting company whose projects have involved companies such as Bell Atlantic, GTE, Hughes Network Systems, Alcatel, Raytheon, BellSouth, AirTouch, DHL, The United Nations, Sun Microsystems, and numerous international telecom carriers.
