Build on the GeoProbe System
GeoBill builds on the GeoProbe system to collect complete call and signaling records directly from the signaling network. With GeoBill, you can bill for circuit and non-circuit related unbundled services without modifying your switch software, even in networks with switches from multiple vendors. GeoBill also generates all interconnection billing records in a common format, eliminating additional conversion of differing vendor formats.

GeoBill System
The GeoBill system runs on an IT:seven server that processes call and signaling records from the GeoProbe into billing records. GeoBill's sophisticated algorithms automatically map call and signaling parameters to industry-standard billing records before forwarding them to your interconnection billing accounting system.
GeoBill Signaling Record Forwarder Module
The GeoBill Signaling Record Forwarder
module collects signaling information used to bill interconnecting carriers for use of signaling resources and intelligent network services. Signaling usage data is collected by the GeoProbe system over defined intervals and is aggregated into Usage Measurement Detail Records (UDRs). At the end of each interval, the UDRs are forwarded to the GeoBill application. The GeoBill application creates an industry-standard billing record for the signaling usage, and the resulting billing records are then forwarded to or retrieved by the accounting system for rating and invoicing.
GeoBill Call Record Forwarder Module
The GeoBill Call Record Forwarder module collects call information used to bill interconnecting carriers for minutes of trunk use. Data from each call is collected by the GeoProbe system and is transmitted as a Call Detail Record (CDR) to the GeoBill application. The GeoBill application then creates industry-standard billing records, which are forwarded to or retrieved by the accounting system for rating and invoicing.
