MotorolaTiming2000 Active Global Positioning System (GPS) Timing Antenna is a microstrip patch antenna with a designed conical dome shape. Signal gain, noise figure, and exceptional out-of-band rejection performance assure these customers best quality functionality over available cable length and a wide range of ambient temperatures.

The dome shape of this antenna prevents the collection of "hard weather" like snow and ice from blocking antenna signals. It also has electrically-shielded LNA assembly to assure high performance in a variety of EMI environments. With minimal power requirements, the antenna draws 26 milliamps at 5-volts, diplexed from the interconnecting coaxial cable.

The antenna's compact size offers flexibility and its signal gain, maximum noise figure of 2.5 dB and minimal 40 dB out-of-band rejection assure good performance over existing cables. It also features a center post mount; Jack-style N-Connector; and aluminum die cast bottom housing.
