Hirschmann of dual band antennas designed for use with Orbcomm's satellite communications system. The antennas provide both GPS and VHF capability in a single integrated device with a separate feed line for each band.
A 3.5-dB microstrip patch antenna with 25 dB gain LNA serves the GPS function. Two options are available for the VHF radiator: a quarter wave or a low profile, encapsulated Flex Mast.
Several mounting configurations of the antenna are available: rooftop, for permanent installation; magnetic, for temporary usage; and trunk lid, for semi-permanent installation without the need to drill holes.
There are several possible connector configurations with SMB connectors on both antenna leads being the most common. Others are available upon request.
