The InFielder PDA measurement platform is designed for any in-building or campus wireless system. Using the lightweight color Palm IIIc PDA computing platform, it allows 2-D and 3-D drawings or maps of any in-building or campus environment to be displayed with the physical location of wireless system infrastructure (such as antennas or cable runs). Simultaneously, InFielder PDA provides instant real-time display and logging of field measurement data from many popular measurement systems used by cellular, PCS, and Wireless LAN companies.
The shipping version of InFielder PDA supports real time measurements with many popular wireless receivers, including the SiteMaster portable spectrum analyzer family, and the company's WaveSpy receiver family. Other lightweight receivers supported by InFielder PDA include the ZK Celltest product line, the Protek 3201 power meter, and the PraXsym portable receiver. The InFielder PDA includes a Palm IIIc color PDA, a docking cradle for PC/internet communication, preloaded software, cables, complete file format specifications, a one year license and customer support package, and a user's guide.
