The Adax HDLC software provides complete HDLC/LAPB/LAPD layer 2 data communication control
The Adax HDLC software provides complete HDLC/LAPB/LAPD layer 2 data communication control conforming to the CCITT/ITU and industry standards of layer two protocols. This includes frame formatting, transparency (so-called "bit stuffing") and error detection. Contained in the buffer management is an on-chip dual channel DMA engine with one channel for receive and one channel for transmit.
DLPI Support
Adax streams-based UNIX drivers support standard UNIX DLPI/LLI interface specification for lower layer drivers. This interface has been used successfully in the commercial data and telephony markets with much success and appreciation for ease of use and integration.
LAPB/LAPD/LAPV5/LAPF
Additional Adax streams software modules and APIs support the LAPB/LAPD/LAPV5/LAPF protocols.
