Hopling Networks Introduces New Mobile WiMAX Pico Base Station; HopMAX 3000

Almere - Hopling Networks, a manufacturer of state-of-the-art wireless networking equipment for enterprises, operators and service providers, today introduced a new member of the HopMAX mobile WiMAX product-line; the HopMAX 3000 Mobile WiMAX Pico Base Station.

The HopMAX 3000 Pico Base Station is a powerful super compact mobile WiMAX base station on the market today in locations where increased coverage and capacity is needed. The Pico Base Station provides dedicated enhanced outdoor and in-building capacity and network coverage. The HopMAX 3000 is a one sector station which supports up to 512 subscriber units. The output power, smaller size and light weight makes the HopMAX 3000 the ideal choice for outdoor or indoor installations where increased network coverage or capacity is needed.

The HopMAX 2000 has received FCC certification to operate in the US-based WiMAX 3.65GHz frequency band. The 3.65GHz frequency band presents a new opportunity for a great many service providers.

The HopMAX mobile WiMAX product-line, including both base and subscriber stations, offers US operators the opportunity to fully deploy the benefits of mobile WiMAX while operating in a non-exclusive shared licensed frequency spectrum.

The HopMAX mobile WiMAX product-line, based on the IEEE 802.16e-2005 standard, consists of low-cost, compact and pico base stations, and subscriber units, making the technology an attractive entry network strategy for a wide range of service providers - global or local, rural or metropolitan.
