Indiqu joins forces with Telus Mobility for games offering

WNBC launches digital broadcasts
Telus Mobility has joined forces with mobile entertainment network Indiqu Inc. to bring interactive games to its digital wireless subscribers across Canada. The agreement calls for Indiqu to deliver a wide range of immersive, mass-market games including casino, card, arcade, sports, quiz show, board and parlor games in both English and French. Launched initially on Telus Mobility's Clearnet PCS and Mike product lines in 2000, Indiqu's expanded GAME ON channel is now available to all Telus Mobility customers across Canada.

By fusing mobility with traditional elements, Indiqu creates classic games with a high-tech twist. This innovation sets PC gamers free and provides the mobile phone generation a refreshing alternative to idly waiting in lines.

"Indiqu's GAME ON Mobile Entertainment channel is designed to increase subscriber loyalty and decrease churn," said Robert Lezec, president and CEO of Indiqu. "The global response to our games has already exceeded expectations, because they tap into the demand for anytime, anywhere entertainment. We have definitely brought together the right mix of game play, versatility and innovation."

Powered by its proprietary and robust technology platform, quServe, Indiqu is able to acquire information, data and services in a variety of configurations and deploy them in their optimum format on any wireless device. This ease of aggregation puts Indiqu in the ideal position to support both existing and future wireless standards. quServe supports all major mobile browsers and gateway vendors and can work on pre-WAP, WAP and SMS based platforms. It also offers a flexible authentication mode that can add personalization, security and billing to its services.

"Our agreement with Indiqu will allow us to offer premier mobile entertainment to our customers," said Robert Blumenthal, vice president, Wireless Internet Services at TELUS Mobility. "Indiqu's commitment to quality and targeted services makes the company a great match for us."
