N/Ation for the CDMA, TDMA and GSM drive-test systems allow wireless service providers to make indoor RF-coverage measurements using the same set of tools that they use for outdoor drive testing. Indoor measurements can be made with this company's existing drive-test systems by upgrading software and adding accessories. A test operator, using portable phone- and receiver-based tools and a pen-tablet computer that runs measurement software, can display a digitized floor plan of an indoor site and then walk through the building, making measurements associated with specific locations on the floor plan. Accessories include an AC adapter, auto adapter, spare battery, USB hub and harsh-environment carrying case. Receiver options include a backpack and battery. The system can be scaled across CDMA, TDMA and GSM technologies and across multiple-frequency bands.
