The highly branded and customizable user interface is interoperable with leading IM protocols including MSN Messenger and ICQ and is compatible with I-mode, WAP and HTML platforms. 1-way and 2-way Short Messaging Service (SMS) is also supported.
The Carrier Edition enables mobile operators to offer the latest messaging technology to users both on the desktop and on any wireless platform. Architectured to integrate with unique network elements such as location servers, third party presence servers and various SMS Centers, this edition further expands carriers' overall service offerings.
The Portal Edition is designed to meet the user acquisition and retention needs of portal sites by featuring highly customisable desktop and wireless messengers. Incorporating the latest content delivered from the portal right to the users' messenger, the IM application repeatedly encourages users to revisit the website. Virtually any value-add functionality can be incorporated from news tickers to e-commerce.
The Service Provider Edition, which will be available to licensed application service providers, features the wireless and desktop instant messaging capabilities delivered by the company's other products, plus the ability to create several discrete communities on a single server. This makes it ideal for communications inside internal corporate networks, community building within vertical portals and enhancement of customer service call centers.
