Logica's Odyssey Tool to Support Western Wireless Network Expansion

Western Wireless Corp. (Bellevue, WA) has selected Odyssey, Dallas, TX-based Logica's mobile networks planning tool for the carrier's ongoing network expansion and day-to-day network operations. Odyssey is known for its distributed computing environment and prediction accuracy and will replace Western Wireless' current planning tool with 12 licenses.

Western Wireless selected Odyssey primarily for its differentiated and advanced features, which include accurate cell-site prediction functionality, ease of use, and the platform's overall high resolution graphic output, which enables engineers to clearly see the proposed network propagation.

Odyssey is compatible with WindowsNT and UNIX workstations.
