An IP LaunchPad Mobile Messaging Suite is a wireless messaging platform that enables service providers to extend their existing Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) mobile email solutions to include true attachment management. The suite is a carrier-class platform that enables users to read, print, forward, delete, or listen to not only their email messages, but also attachments directly from their wireless device. The first release of the product is designed to support Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) mobile phones. With the suite, users can manage their email, including attachments, through any of the following options:
• Print-to-Fax - Redirect an email message with the attachments to a nearby fax machine
• View - Display and scroll through the text of the email body and attachment on the WAP-based mobile phone
• Forward - Easily forward the message with attachment to another email address, mobile phone, or PDA
• Listen - Listen to the email and the attachment using text-to-speech technology
• Delete - Delete the email message
