Enfora stand-alone CDPD modem provides the single integrated solution for mobile users. It is also available with GPS functionality for vehicle tracking and navigation applications. It delivers up to 4 watts of transmit power using an externally mounted cellular antenna. Connected via a single cable, the 4-Watt modem works with both MDTs and traditional laptops to provide transmit power in remote or rural areas where additional power is required. It weighs less than 1lb. and the modem is contained within a casing designed to withstand extreme vibrations and temperatures. It has a connection speed of 19.2 Kbps., and includes CDPD security features such as network encryption and error correction for file messaging and transfers.
