GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR PORTABLE CONCRETE BUILDINGS

GFRC shelters are designed to meet the customer's contract specifications in accordance with local and national code requirements.

GFRC shelters are manufactured in accordance with the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute's recommendations.

MINIMUM BUILDING DESIGN:

CUSTOM BUILDING DESIGN: To Customer's Specifications

WALL PANEL CONSTRUCTION: Monolithic cured Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete exteriors with steel reinforced structural concrete beam system or steel frame system.

ROOF: Concrete. Roof pitched .1" per foot.

FLOOR: Concrete or steel.

SKID OR LIFTING BASE: Metal (Corrosion resistance treated) or concrete.

ASSEMBLY: Precast metal inserts in floor and roof welded to wall panel steel frames. Wall panel steel frames welded to each other and corner posts.

PANEL EXPANSION JOINTS: Offset construction joints, 3/8" average width, with compressed neoprene gasket to ensure vapor tight sealing between panels. External caulking for aesthetic appearance.

CONSTRUCTION DETAIL: All wall openings, wave guide ports, air conditioning, vent fan, door frame, etc., molded in panel when manufactured. Openings can be cut into steel frame panels if required by change.

METAL SKIDS AND DOORS: Corrosion treated to customer's specifications.

MANUFACTURING STANDARDS: All buildings, walls and partitions manufactured in full compliance with recommendations of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute.

ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT: Air conditioning and heating systems, electrical systems, intake and exhaust systems, cable tray, lightning protection, etc. installed to customer's specifications, manufacturers' recommendations and applicable code requirements.
