Extending Enterprise Applications to Mobile Devices Extended Systems RPM allows developers to extend simple or complex enterprise applications such as MRP systems to wireless mobile devices through easy-to-use multi-tier server architecture. The mobile device becomes a thin-client to the server, allowing complex processes to be executed on the server and then send processed data to the mobile client application. Extended Systems RPM is not limited to just database functionality-any server process can be controlled by the client application, such as report building and printing.
