Site Inspections

Tower Inspection, Inc. (TII) provides two man Certified Inspection Teams for safe, high quality, and complete inspection of communication sites. Standard inspection items include the support structure, the obstruction marking and lighting systems, safety systems, guy systems, antennas and transmission lines, grounding system, and general site conditions. An inventory of antennas, elevations, and azimuths are included with each report.

TII typically performs minor repairs, such as touch up painting of rusty areas, tightening hardware, replacement of small hardware items, and relamping.

Optional extra cost items include guy wire tensioning, coaxial cable testing, field measurement and drawing of equipment shelter floor plans, preparation of site maps, GPS confirmation of latitude and longitude coordinates, grounding system upgrades, etc.

The standard TII inspection checklist is supplemented by color photographs in each report. Repair work completed by the inspectors is documented with before and after photographs.
