SS7oIP Signaling Gateway

IntelliNet's SS7oIP Gateway has been developed for transmitting SS7 messages (TCAP and ISUP) over an IP network. The SS7oIP Gateway supports many SS7 message types including: AIN, INAP, GTT, IS-41, LIDB, and GSM/MAP.
IntelliNet's SS7oIP Gateway product delivers a signal-messaging platform for both voice and data services over a combination of packet switched networks utilizing multiple platforms and operating systems. IntelliNet's SS7oIP Gateway product is positioned to allow network providers to cost effectively make the transition to the next generation of telecommunications technologies.

The dynamics and flexibility of the packet-switched IP networks enable service providers to quickly and inexpensively expand SS7 communication service offerings. The SS7oIP Gateway product provides a means to create a single, cohesive telecommunications environment by creating a linkage between the traditional SS7 and IP networks. This modular solution also can be implemented within higher speed Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) and Frame Relay networks.

IntelliNet's SS7oIP Gateway product addresses the growing need for interoperability between the SS7 and the IP network. At the core, it operates much like a "router" responsible for encapsulating SS7 application messages for transmission over an IP network. There are a number of areas where the SS7oIP Gateway can be used. One such area is for communication between the macro-cellular network and in-building Wireless Office platforms.
