Stellcom and Air2Web Partner to Build Wireless Applications
SAN DIEGO – October 17, 2000 – Stellcom Inc., a leading provider of engineering-based wireless solutions for the mobile economy, today announced a strategic delivery partnership with Air2Web, Inc., a leading mobile Internet platform. Through the partnership Stellcom will leverage the Air2Web platform to develop wireless applications for customers who wish to extend enterprise applications to a broad range of wireless devices and networks.
Under the terms of the agreement, Stellcom will integrate Air2Web's platform into customer's complex enterprise systems. Stellcom will create translation applications for legacy systems and feed Air2Web's XML based application programmer interface (API) set. The Stellcom and Air2Web delivery partnership is engaged in key opportunities with existing clients who recognize the immediate impact of enabling legacy system interactions from wireless devices.
