TenFold to Deliver Enterprise Relationship Manager to Skytel

Jackson, MS-based SkyTel has signed a $22.5 million contract with TenFold Corp. (Draper, UT) to deliver a complete enterprise business support system. SkyTel will use the Web-based TenFold Enterprise Relationship Manager to transition its business model to the Internet, including marketing, sales, service, and billing.

The product will give SkyTel a suite of applications to manage the entire customer life cycle including ordering and fulfillment, inventory management, billing, customer care, trouble management, and commissioning. The carrier will be able to offer Web access to authorized customers and distribution channels for capabilities such as Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) and account management.

The suite of applications will support Skytel's desire to integrate the Internet with wireless communications, and the carrier will be able to introduce new products and services at the pace demanded by a fast-changing communications market.
