San Diego, CA - Trango Broadband Wireless, one of the leader in providing high-performance fixed wireless broadband products, announced recently its first licensed point-to-point microwave radio system that delivers more than 300 Mbps full duplex (simultaneous 300+ Mbps upstream and 300+ Mbps downstream). The system is designed to provide high-capacity wireless IP connectivity for the most demanding networks including Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) backhaul applications, Enterprise connectivity, public and private networks as well as mobile and fixed wireless technologies such as UMTS, 3G, 4G, WiMAX, Wi-Fi and Edge etc. TrangoLINK Giga system will be available first in the 18 GHz frequency with other licensed frequencies to follow, such as 6 GHz, 10/11 GHz and 23 GHz.

"The TrangoLINK Giga product line will be a major step forward for us to be the ultimate wireless connectivity source," said Vural Kalafat, Vice President of Marketing for Trango. "TrangoLINK Giga will complement our current point-to-point and point-to-multipoint product lines and provide seamless high-capacity connectivity solutions for our customers."

TrangoLINK Giga provides a scalable, flexible and easily upgradeable solution in a highly rugged, reliable design with excellent system gain and latency of less than 150 microseconds. The system is an ideal solution for high-capacity IP networks as well as traditional Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) networks which are migrating to more advanced IP connectivity. TrangoLINK Giga features four 1000BaseT ports which are both bandwidth and priority adjustable, as well as eight T1/E1 ports that are automatically added to or dropped from the data stream when connected or disconnected.
