U S WEST Wireless Selects InfoSpace's Platform for Wireless Internet Services

Denver, CO-based U S West Wireless has chosen InfoSpace's wireless Internet platform to offer a comprehensive suite of wireless Internet services to its mobile users. Using Redmond, WA-based InfoSpace's platform, customers will be able to access personalized and localized information. The carrier's new line of Internet services launch today.

"Our wireless Internet services will provide the future standard for how people receive information and conduct secure commerce from their wireless devices including trading stock," said Naveen Jain, chairman and CEO, InfoSpace. "In a few years we will look at browsing the Internet on PCs like we look back at watching black and white TV."
