WebLink Wireless Forms Strategic Alliance with MobilityLink

As a means to reach deeper into the enterprise market, Dallas, TX-based WebLink Wireless Inc. has entered into a strategic alliance with MobilityLink (Coral Springs, FL) to deliver two-way wireless data applications to enterprise customers. MobilityLink is an application service provider (ASP) focused on delivering wireless data solutions to businesses using the Internet to connect mobile employees to corporate information such as e-mail, calendar, and unified messaging. The company is testing its QuickStart wireless solution with several Fortune 500 enterprise customers, all incorporating WebLink Wireless' two-way wireless data capabilities.

The QuickStart wireless solution packages consist of various client devices, a range of software applications, carrier services, and wireless access to data applications - all hosted at the company's data center. With WebLink Wireless' wireless data network, MobilityLink's customers can use Motorola PageWriter 2000X interactive messaging devices to access critical enterprise network information.

The Enterprise Solutions Partner Program creates value-added partnerships between WebLink Wireless and software developers, value-added resellers, systems integrators, and other organizations focused on providing communication technology and services that improve the ways companies and employees do their jobs. The program, first announced in October 1999, uses WebLink Wireless' wireless data network and currently includes 13 companies.
